FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: used to measure volumetric fuel consumption during the operation of industrial and transport machines. The summing inductive fuel flow meter contains a pointer with a scale and arrow, a gear rack, an instantaneous fuel consumption sensor, a gearbox, a ratchet, an inductive sensor made on a bridge circuit, and a pulse amplifier, the input of which is connected to the output of the bridge rectifier, and the output to the control winding of a stepper electromagnet, the armature of which is connected to the ratchet pawl, the ratchet gear shaft of which is articulated with the input shaft of the gearbox, on the output shaft of which an indicator arrow is mounted. In this case, the instantaneous fuel consumption sensor contains a housing made of diamagnetic material in the form of a hollow flange with the possibility of installation in a pipeline gap between the pipeline flanges and having internal and external annular recesses, while in the outer annular recess an induction sensor is installed, consisting of a permanent magnet covered with a lid with a winding connected to the input of the bridge rectifier of the pulse converter, and the inner annular recess is made with inlet and outlet bells; in the inner annular recess, an annular-shaped turbine with internal blades is installed in the inner annular recess using angular contact bearings, with internal blades evenly distributed on the inner surface of the turbine support ring at an acute angle to the direction of movement of the flow of fuel pumped through the pipeline, and external teeth, evenly distributed on the outer surface of the turbine support ring, while the external teeth are made of ferromagnetic material, and the end sections of the internal blades are beveled and repeat the shape of the inlet and outlet bells of the internal annular recess, while the internal diameter of the internal blades is made equal to the internal diameter of the pipeline, into the gap of which the housing of the instantaneous fuel consumption sensor is installed.

EFFECT: simplifying the design and manufacturing method of the instantaneous fuel consumption sensor and increasing the reliability of the fuel flow meter.
