SUBSTANCE: invention is related to designs of small helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), intended for extinguishing fires mainly in high-rise buildings or other hard-to-reach places. The barrels with fire-extinguishing projectiles located on board the UAV are placed in a single launch module with an outer cylindrical body in such a way that for the cross section of this module, rotational axial symmetry of the 4th order is observed relative to the longitudinal axis of the body, the centers of the cross sections of the projectiles lie on straight lines that pass through the center of the cross-section of the body and the angles between which are multiples of 45°. The housing of the launch module rotates within the range using a servo drive withing± 90° with resolution 45° coordinated with the launch of successive projectiles, which avoids long-term lateral shifts of the UAV’s center of gravity.

EFFECT: more stable operation of the UAV when launching fire extinguishing projectiles, more economical consumption of power plant energy and increased operating time of the UAV.
