FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a magnetically separable catalyst for the oxidation of organic compounds containing as a carrier magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles modified with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and an inorganic oxide selected from SiO2, Al2O3 or ZrO2, glutardialdehyde as a cross-linking agent and glucose oxidase from Aspergillus niger as an active component, characterized by the carrier additionally including chitosan, with the following ratio of components in % by weight: Fe3O4 — 9.58÷9.88; inorganic oxide selected from SiO2, Al2O3 or ZrO2 — 63.72÷64.32; chitosan — 3.0–3.4; 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane — 6.2÷6.6; glutardialdehyde — 15.71÷16.31; glucose oxidase — 0.61÷0.67; and a method of synthesizing a magnetically separable catalyst for the oxidation of organic compounds involves reacting an enzyme-containing solution with a support modified to produce aldehyde groups on its surface.

EFFECT: increase in the activity, selectivity, operational stability of a heterogeneous catalyst in the reaction of liquid-phase oxidation of organic compounds and its ability to be separated from the reaction medium through the use of a solid carrier with a large surface area, a large number of amino groups on the surface and magnetic properties, and inorganic oxides, also exhibiting activity in the oxidation of organic compounds.
