SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to the technology of engineering and biological protection of earth covers from deflation, waterlogging, sloughing and processes of wind and water erosion, as well as methods for reclamation of disturbed landscapes - landscaping of weathered soils. In the method, the soil is treated with an aqueous solution of polymers. An aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol is mixed with an aqueous solution of starch, applied to the surface of the soil containing plant seeds, frozen at sub-zero temperatures, then thawed at positive temperatures at the following ratios of components, wt.%: polyvinyl alcohol - 0.088-0.245, potato or corn starch - 0.105-0.262, soil - 74.28-72.56, plant seeds - 0.18-0.23, water - the rest.

EFFECT: method provides structuring and stabilization of the soil, strengthening of the turf due to the presence of pores in the cryogel, high germination of plants, as well as nutrition and development of a stronger and more branched root system.
