FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for fixation of soils, bare or disturbed on the territory of enterprises engaged in extraction and transportation of gas in various natural and climatic conditions. Method for fixing and restoring soil and vegetation cover of disturbed lands using a water-based biodegradable polymer-structure-forming agent includes preparation of a site, introduction of seeds of perennial grasses into the surface layer of the soil, covering the seeds to depth of 1–2 cm, rolling and treating the soil with a biodegradable polymer-structure-forming agent. At that, biodegradable polymer-structure-forming agent contains polyvinylpyrrolidone with high and average molecular weight dissolved in 10,000 g per 1 m2 of soil, anionic polyacrylamide and mineral fertilizers. Said polyvinylpyrrolidone is contained in range of 1.8–3.6 g per 1 m2 of soil, and anionic polyacrylamide is contained in range of 5.4–10.7 g per 1 m2 of soil.
EFFECT: increased resistance of soils to water-erosion processes, improved agrophysical and structural properties of soils, elimination of consequences of negative impact on environment, reduction of time and energy expenditures at restoration of technogenically disturbed sections.
