FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: production of strips from structural steels with high plastic and strength properties. The method includes manufacturing a continuous cast billet from structural steel, heating it to the austenitization temperature, rough and finish rolling and coiling. A continuous cast billet is made of steel containing components in the following ratio, wt.%: C: 0.04-0.30, Si: 0.10-0.50, Mn: 0.20-0.90 Cr: 1.50-3.00, Ni: no more than 0.40, Cu: no more than 0.30, Al: no more than 0.05, V: no more than 0.06, Nb: no more than 0.06, Mo: 0.40-1.0, N: no more than 0.02, S: no more than 0.02, P: no more than 0.02, if necessary B: no more than 0.005, iron and inevitable impurities - the rest. Heating to austenitization temperature of 1150-1300°C, is carried out for at least 2.5 hours and no more than 4.5 hours. Rough rolling is completed at a temperature of 1000-1170°C. Finish rolling begins at a temperature of 900-1100°C and is completed at a temperature of 800-1000°C. Winding of strips into a roll is carried out at a temperature of 650-770°C with subsequent cooling of the roll to a temperature of no more than 50°C at a speed of 0.3-0.7°C/min.
EFFECT: high mechanical properties are ensured, allowing the use of structural steel strips in the manufacture of vessel bodies operating at high temperatures and under pressure.
