FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: biopsy of the subretinal fluid in intraocular formations is carried out. A port is installed for introducing endovitreal scissors and a biopsy needle and an additional port is installed for introducing an endo-illuminator. Retinotomy is performed with endovitreal scissors under the control of an operating microscope: in the case of a maximum height of retinal detachment on the slope of the intraocular formation, along the edge of retinal fixation to the tumor in the zone of its maximum tension. In the case of spread of retinal detachment to the central part, in its absence on the slopes of the intraocular formation, at the optic nerve head, with the exception of the outer segment of the fundus. Then the scissors are removed and the biopsy needle is inserted through the port into the formed retinotomy hole. After that, active aspiration of the subretinal fluid is carried out and the needle, endo-illuminator and vitreoretinal ports are removed with the imposition of nodal episcleral sutures.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain a sufficient volume of subretinal fluid when creating a minimally invasive access, which makes it possible to use the material for genetic and cytological studies.
