SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For surgical treatment of capillary hemangioma, the retina is performed with a vitrectomy with removal of the posterior hyaloid membrane, removal of the epiretinal membranes along the entire surface of the retina and over the hemangioma. Draining through the retinotomic hole, made within 1–2 mm of the hemangioma, the subretinal fluid before adaptation of the retina. Starting from the retinotomic opening, a retinotomy is made along the border of the hemangioma without crossing the tumor-feeding vessels of the retina, its mobilization. Endolaserocoagulation is performed from the side of the vitreous and from the side of the choroid on the background of increased intraocular pressure. Then endolaserocoagulation of the zone of retinotomy and tamponade of the vitreal atrium is performed.

EFFECT: method provides a reduction in the probability of reperfusion of hemangioma, a reduction in the risk of intraoperative hemorrhagic complications and the probability of relapse of retinal detachment, as well as ectopia of the macula in the postoperative period due to the limited retinotomy performed and preservation of the retinal vessel.
