FIELD: antenna equipment.

SUBSTANCE: methods for temperature correction of calibration of active phased antenna arrays (APAA) and calculation of characteristics of APAA radiation patterns in a wide temperature range. In the proposed method for determining the characteristics of the APAA radiation pattern, in contrast to the prototype, before assembling the APAA, the calibration coefficients of each transceiver module are measured in the receiving and transmitting mode in a discrete set of operating temperatures op with a temperature sampling step ∆t, including at the temperature at which the assembled APAA tmeas is configured and calibrated, and subsequent operations for all possible values of the phase shift and attenuation of the phase shifter and attenuator, and all measurements are carried out in the calculated range of input signals corresponding to operating conditions.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the directional pattern of the APAA, taking into account the mutual influence of antenna elements in the operating temperature range tmin≤top≤tmax on a given direction in reception and transmission modes.
