FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the preparation of a highly purified solution of vanadyl sulfate from purified titanium tetrachloride sludge. Water is added to the sludge of purified titanium tetrachloride and agitated leaching is carried out, the solution is filtered to obtain a vanadium-containing leaching solution which is adjusted to pH 1–2 and the residue is mixed with the extractant to carry out primary extraction to obtain the primary loaded organic phase. Re-extraction of the primary loaded organic phase is carried out with the first solution of sulfuric acid to obtain a primary re-extractant, the pH value of which is adjusted to 1–2, mixed with the extractant to carry out re-extraction to obtain a re-loaded organic phase. Re-extraction of the re-loaded organic phase is carried out with a second solution of sulfuric acid to obtain a solution of vanadyl sulfate, wherein the concentration of the first sulfuric acid solution is less than the concentration of the second sulfuric acid solution.
EFFECT: method allows to prepare a highly purified solution of vanadyl sulfate, increase the extraction rate of high-purity vanadium while simplifying the process.
