FIELD: hydrometallurgy of rare metals. SUBSTANCE: method involves multiple-staged extraction with organic extractant and multiple-staged reextraction with sulfate ammonia solution, with extractant being saturated with molybdenum to 90-95% of theoretical value in the process of extraction, and reextraction process being performed at equal pH of 4-6, which is regulated by successive portioned supplying of reextractant in several reextraction stages; sequentially washing molybdenum extract with sulfuric acid solution having concentration of 0.3-0.5 mole/l and with sulfate ammonia solution until pH value of equal-weight washing solution is 1-2; upon reextaction process, washing extractant with, for example, sulfuric acid solution of 0.3-0.5% concentration with following directing of extract to washing station. Method allows molybdenum extraction extent to be increased to 99.5%. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced contaminant removal extent. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 3 tbl
