SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the extraction of vanadium from a vanadium-containing carbonized leach solution and the reuse of residual vanadium precipitation liquid. HCO3- type anion exchange resin contacts the vanadium-containing carbonated leach solution to produce a vanadium-enriched resin and ion exchange residual liquid, which is returned to the carbonated leach process for use as a leaching solution of vanadium-containing slag. The vanadium-enriched resin is contacted with a desorbent to produce a desorption solution, the desorbent being a solution containing ammonium bicarbonate and sodium bicarbonate. Ammonium bicarbonate is added to the desorption solution containing vanadium to obtain ammonium metavanadate and residual vanadium precipitation liquid after filtration. The residual vanadium precipitation liquid is returned for use as a desorbent.

EFFECT: method provides simplification of the technological process, recovery of vanadium in a carbonated leaching solution with the possibility of reusing the residual liquid of vanadium deposition, which reduces the formation of wastewater and the consumption of reagents.
