FIELD: pharmaceuticals.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of production of diammonium phosphate used as a water-soluble fertilizer. The method of production of water-soluble diammonium phosphate is characterized by the following: purified monoammonium phosphate in presence of a circulating solution of diammonium phosphate and sulfuric acid is dissolved in water at a temperature of 60 to 70°C, the resulting solution is ammoniated to a pH of 7.2 to 7.6, the concentration of sulfate ions is maintained in the range from 60 to 90 g/dm3, the resulting suspension is cooled to a temperature of 40–60°C to obtain a crystalline suspension, the crystals are separated, dried and cooled to a temperature of not more than 30°C.

EFFECT: production of diammonium phosphate with a P2O5 content of 53% and nitrogen 21%.
