SUBSTANCE: pressure exchanger includes a rotor including rotor channels extending parallel to the axis, a first end cap located on a first side of the rotor, and a second end cap located on a second side of the rotor. The rotor is configured to rotate about an axis, communicate the first fluid and the second fluid through the rotor channels, control the pressure of the first fluid or the second fluid discharged from the rotor, and allow at least a portion of the first fluid to contact the second end cover, thereby reducing or eliminating dead volume inside the rotor. The second fluid includes a supply volume that passes through the rotor passages.
EFFECT: pressure exchanger for gas processing is proposed.
