SUBSTANCE: group of inventions belongs to the oil and gas industry. Rotating isobaric pressure exchanger includes a cylindrical rotor with first and second opposing end faces having axial channels with openings located at the end faces. Exchanger comprises first and second end caps bordering, respectively, a first surface with a first side and a second surface with a second side of the rotor and movably and hermetically connected thereto. Lids have inlet and outlet openings, respectively, for the first and second fluids for alternately communicating with the channels as the rotor rotates. Exchanger has a passageway formed through the second surface of the second cover. Passage during rotation of the rotor is in fluid communication with the channels of the rotor. Second surface comprises a first transition region in the direction of rotation from the outlet to the inlet for the second fluid, and the passage is located in the first region.
EFFECT: inventions are aimed at improving the transmission of pressure in the pipeline, increasing the service life and productivity of equipment, as well as reducing its cost.
