FIELD: heat insulation.
SUBSTANCE: thermal insulation coating with one-way conductivity of infrared and visible light can be used in the construction of buildings and structures in northern regions with heating due to solar radiation, or for cooling spacecraft and buildings in southern regions, preventing them from overheating. The thermal insulation coating comprises a porous layer and a metallization layer applied to it. Inside the main porous layer there are transparent focons oriented along the propagation of thermal and light radiation, the wide ends of the focons are directed towards the radiation source, and the narrow ends are directed towards the radiation receiver, coinciding with small holes in the metallization layer. With the help of focons, due to total internal reflection, thermal and light radiant energy, when heating rooms, is first concentrated and then radiated towards the energy receiver from the narrow ends of the focones. However, reverse thermal IR rays are mainly reflected from the metallization layer, remaining indoors.
EFFECT: reduced energy costs for heating premises located in the middle zone and northern regions.
