FIELD: oil refining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to reduce the amount of fuel oil deposits in heat exchange oil refining equipment. The method for reducing the formation of deposits from fuel oil involves preheating the fuel oil to 250°C, subsequent sequential treatment with ultrasonic and magnetic field. Ultrasonic treatment of fuel oil is carried out with a radiation frequency of 50-60 kHz while the fuel oil is in the technological tank of the ultrasonic apparatus for 17 minutes. Then it is exposed to the magnetic field of a magnetizer with an induction of 0.1-0.3 T at a linear flow rate of raw materials of 0.4 m/s.
EFFECT: formation of deposits from fuel oil in heat exchange oil refining equipment is reduced.
