SUBSTANCE: strain of Exiguobacterium mexicanum S4/2 - a promising plant growth stimulator. Bacterial strain Exiguobacterium mexicanum S4/2, deposited in the All-Russian Collection of Microorganism Cultures under the number VKM B-3549D. On rich medium it forms pale pink colonies. Exiguobacterium mexicanum strain S4/2 had a stimulating effect on the germination of seeds of plants such as beets, oats and cruciferous vegetables. The strain was isolated from the surface of the skin of the aquatic clawed frog Hymenochirus Boettgeri.
EFFECT: strain can be used to obtain biological products for soaking seeds and stimulating seed germination and plant growth and development.
