The discrete capacitive level gauge is proposed, containing a control unit, a clock pulse generator, level converters into electrical signals in the form of capacitors, located sequentially in height, characterized in that the capacitors are made in the form of metal printed tracks mounted on a printed circuit board in the form of two vertical bars separated by an air gap and located in the same plane, the exciting plates of the capacitors in the first line are connected to the clock pulse generator through the first capacitor switching matrix having n outputs, and the receiving plates of the capacitors are located in the second line opposite the exciting ones, with each of the n receiving plates are connected to the corresponding key of the second matrix for switching and scanning capacitors, which has n inputs, the common output of the matrix is connected to an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a highly stable power supply, and the ADC is connected to the control unit.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurements, the ability to determine the composition of the layers of the mixture filling the tank.
