SUBSTANCE: method of pressure testing of tubing in wells with horizontal completion includes lowering a tubing string equipped with a saddle into the well, dumping a shut-off element - a ball into the tubing before landing in the saddle with a hermetically sealed blocking of its passage, performing pressure testing of the tubing and ensuring communication with the tubing with a well when the pressure inside the tubing exceeds the pressure test pressure. The well is preliminarily examined by determining the well interval above the horizontal section with a deviation from the vertical - an inclination angle not exceeding 75°. Before lowering the tubing from below, it is equipped with deep-well pumping equipment, above which a saddle is placed at a distance that ensures the location of the saddle in a certain interval after lowering the tubing into the well. The longitudinal passage of the saddle is made in the form of two conical surfaces that taper from top to bottom and smoothly connect, the upper of which is made with an apex angle of 10-40°, and the lower one with a diameter equal to the diameter of the ball – 90-120°, to ensure a tight fit of the ball into the seat at a well inclination angle of 0-75°. To ensure communication between the tubing and the well above the seat, radial holes are made, covered by appropriate membranes, designed to be destroyed when the pressure exceeds the test pressure by 12% or more, but not higher than the strength characteristics of the tubing for direct flushing of the wellbore.
EFFECT: improved reliability of pressure testing of pump and compressor pipes in wells with a horizontal end.
