FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: dual-band feed contains a radiating element consisting of two diaphragms, alternating with two short sections of a circular multimode waveguide, and sequentially and coaxially connected to one side of the section of a circular single-mode waveguide of the low-frequency range, which is made with an opening in the side surface, through which, via the resonant diaphragm of the orthogonally longitudinal axis of a circular single-mode low-frequency waveguide, the circular single-mode low-frequency waveguide is connected. On the other side, the low-frequency range single-mode circular waveguide section is connected via a step junction to the high-frequency range single-mode circular waveguide section short-circuited on the other side. The section of the circular single-mode waveguide of the high-frequency range is made with an opening in the side surface, through which a rectangular single-mode waveguide of the high-frequency range is connected through a resonant diaphragm orthogonally to the longitudinal axis of the circular single-mode waveguide of the high-frequency range, located in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the rectangular single-mode waveguide of the low-frequency range. In this case, two inductive pins are installed in each section of the circular waveguide.
EFFECT: creation of a dual-band feed with linear field polarization, having an axisymmetric pattern in the E and H planes without side lobes and high isolation between the signals of the two ranges.
