SUBSTANCE: flexible corrugated single-mode waveguide is a tube of conductive material of circular cross-section with annular corrugations located along the longitudinal axis of the waveguide. The pipe dimensions are selected in the range of 0.785≤R/λn≤0.95; 0.354≤a/λn≤0.38; 0.524≤T/λn≤0.533; 0.2≤b/T≤0.5; where R is the outer maximum radius of the pipe; λn is the wavelength corresponding to the lower frequency of the single-mode band for the EH₁₁ mode; a is the depth of the corrugation; T is the period of the corrugation; b is the width of the corrugation notch at half its depth.

EFFECT: reducing the loss while maintaining flexibility of the waveguide.
