FIELD: antenna equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and is used to receive and transmit signals in the Ka and Ku bands of satellite frequencies, with circular and linear polarization, respectively. Result is achieved by the fact that a low-profile dual-band satellite antenna system is disclosed, comprising a first group of two or more truncated parabolic reflectors with a corresponding number of radiators and sub-reflectors, first waveguide assembly, including T-shaped adders/dividers, single-mode rectangular waveguides and inserts for accurate adjustment of signals phases, controller, step motors in azimuth and elevation angle, wherein the first group of reflectors forms a first antenna for receiving and transmitting circular polarization signals in the satellite frequency range, characterized in that it includes a second group of two or more truncated reflectors with a corresponding number of irradiators and sub-reflectors, elevation control mechanism for both groups and a second waveguide assembly similar to the first one, wherein the second group of reflectors forms a second antenna for receiving and transmitting linear polarization signals in the satellite frequency range.

EFFECT: receiving and transmitting signals in two different satellite bands, for example Ku and Ka, in linear and circular polarisations, respectively.
