FIELD: soil reinforcement.
SUBSTANCE: method for monitoring the deformation characteristics of reinforced soil. The method includes a stamp test of a soil mass with a reinforcing element and measurement of soil parameters by which the deformability of the base is determined, characterized in that it additionally determines the value of the deformation modulus of the reinforced soil at any depth of the reinforced soil mass by through drilling of a vertical reinforcing element using the core method with core sampling and field testing of soil located between vertical reinforcing elements, static probing, then, after testing with a stamp, the correlation coefficient is calculated as the ratio of the stamp modulus of deformation of reinforced soil within the first meter of reinforcement depth to the calculated modulus of deformation of reinforced soil, and the modulus of deformation of reinforced soil at any depth reinforcement is determined by Formula 1, where Kf is the correlation coefficient; Eai - modulus of elasticity of the reinforcing element (MPa) at the i-th depth; Eri - modulus of soil deformation between the reinforcing elements (MPa) at the i-th depth; α - reinforcement coefficient.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and accuracy of monitoring the deformation characteristics of soils at any depth of a reinforced soil mass reinforced with vertical reinforcing elements made of concrete, soil concrete or soil cement.
