FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method for testing soils with static probing includes double-stage pressing of indentor fixed on core of rod into soil with permanent speed, having shape of cylinder with diametre of 0.95-0.97 and height of 0.15-0.25 of outer rod diametre. At the first stage with speed of up to 1.5 m/min for depth of 1.2-1.5 of cylindrical indentor diametre, at the second stage with speed of up to 5 mm/min for depth of 0.4-0.6 of cylindrical indentor diametre. Then position of cylindrical indentor is fixed, and force of soil resistance is continued to be registered until value of its reduction speed becomes equal to 1.25-2.5 N/hr. Registration of cylindrical indentor pressing depth at the second stage is carried out with pitch of not more than 0.005 mm, and forces of soil resistance at the second stage of pressing and after fixation of cylindrical indentor position are maintained with pitch of not more than 2.5 N. Using results of test, curves are made for speed of force changing in resistance of soil to pressing of cylindrical indentor, dependence of energy of force of clayey surfaces interaction, gradient of force of interaction of clayey surfaces on distance between them, and values of micro-structural properties of soil deformation model are determined, as well as micro-rheological properties of soil and deformation-strength properties of soil.

EFFECT: increased number of soil properties obtained in a single test and reduced labour expenditures in their production.
