FIELD: container closures.
SUBSTANCE: closure contains a body and a cylindrical lower part. The body has an upper panel wall and a cylindrical wall in the form of a skirt. The lower portion is connected to the body skirt wall by a plurality of frangible links and includes an engaging means located on an inner peripheral surface of the lower portion for tampering indication. The engaging means consists of a plurality of engaging elements or an annular engaging element. The protruding element protrudes downwards and is located on the wall in the form of a housing skirt. The non-fragile connecting member is positioned to connect the skirt wall of the housing and the tamper-indicating lower portion and allows the housing to be moved upward relative to the tamper-indicating lower portion. The protruding portion is formed on the engaging member in a corner region.
EFFECT: provision of a sufficiently large angle of rotation of the body, placed in the required open position, relative to the neck of the container, as the body is held in the required open position quite reliably even when the container closure is relatively short in the axial direction.
