FIELD: marine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for lifting underwater objects and is aimed at eliminating the negative influence of bottom soil on the lifting technology and the technical means used. To eliminate the effect of bottom soil on lifting of underwater cylindrical objects of elongated shape, an underwater object is used, which is lowered from a support vessel equipped with a dynamic positioning system in a vertical position with a sharp point by a node located on its side surface offset from the longitudinal axis of the object, and placed on a solid artificial base, which includes a head having a curved inner surface covered with a durable and elastic waterproof material. The head ensures that an object lowered to the bottom is captured and transferred from a vertical to a horizontal position with the least friction, which completely eliminates the contact of the underwater object with the bottom soil and its influence on the technology and technical means of lifting the underwater object.
EFFECT: simpler technology for lowering and lifting an underwater object, reduced duration of the works, and elimination of the use of expensive soil cleaning equipment and high-power lifting equipment necessary to overcome the tear-off resistance of the soil.
