ACOUSTO-OPTICAL ANTENNA ARRAY SIGNAL PROCESSOR Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G01S15/00

Abstract RU 2809925 C1

FIELD: acousto-optical devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acousto-optical devices that make it possible to determine the coordinates and frequency of a source of electromagnetic radiation in a wide range of angles and a wide frequency band. Essence: an acousto-optical signal processor for an antenna array, containing an antenna array, the outputs of n+1 elements of which are connected to the corresponding n+1 inputs of a multi-channel mixer, the second input of which is connected to the output of a local oscillator, a multi-channel acousto-optical modulator, the n+1 inputs of which are connected to the corresponding n+1 outputs of the multichannel mixer, as well as a re-radiating array consisting of n+1 acoustic transducers located at the rectangular end of the modulator, forming n+1 acousto-optical channels in the multichannel acousto-optical modulator, which are electrically connected to n+1 inputs of the modulator, while n+1 antenna array elements are located in sector 360°, and the device additionally contains n+1 photodetectors, which are electrically connected to the block for processing the received signals, located on the same optical axis with n+1 acousto-optical channels, as well as a laser and a collimator that are optically connected to each other and located on the same optical axis with a multichannel acousto-optical modulator.

EFFECT: providing spatial signal processing in sector 360° from both the far and near zones of the antenna array.
