SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of treating hepatosis in cows. A method of treating hepatosis in cows includes the use of bentonite administered daily orally at a dose of 150 g per animal for 30 days, and then 100 g for 15 days, in which a composition containing sea buckthorn meal is used as a agent with hepatoprotective and detoxifying activity in the amount of 60.0%, soy lecithin in the amount of 25.0%, sodium thiosulfate in the amount of 14% and sodium benzoate in the amount of 1% used in a course of 30 days at a dose of 5 g/kg of feed, with mandatory monitoring of the effectiveness of the treatment to reduce the level of MWM 254 in blood.
EFFECT: increasing the effectiveness of hepatosis therapy in cows.
