SUBSTANCE: device for removing coke oven gas from a coke oven includes a vertical pipe, a tee, an elbow, a cover, a valve box with a valve, and a lever transmission. The device is also equipped with a valve box with an adjustable water seal. In the valve box, on the lower branch pipe associated with the valve, there is a U-shaped opening, to which a gate device is installed on the outside with a bolted connection, consisting of two linings, between which a gate with an axis is placed freely in the guides, which interacts with the shaft lever, to which a lever is installed on the opposite side, through which, by means of a rod with an actuator, the gate moves up or down.
EFFECT: control of the water seal.
