AUTOMATIC LINE FOR CUTTING ROLLED STEEL FLAT TAPE INTO MEASURING STRIPS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC B23D25/00 

FIELD: press-forging technological equipment.

SUBSTANCE: line for automatic longitudinal-transverse cutting of rolled steel flat tape into measuring strips contains a loading device, an unwinder, an edge bender, a base device, a straightening device, disk shears, a receiving table, guillotine shears, a looper, a straightening machine, a receiving device, an electric device, a hydraulic device, pneumatic device. The metal roll is installed on the trolley of the loading device and with the help of it the roll is put on the unwinder drum, by rotating which the strip along the edge bender table is inserted into the rollers of the base device and then into the correct device. The sheet of metal is fed into disc shears, where the metal is cut into strips. The strips are fed into guillotine shears. The cut strips are fed into the looper carriage. The strips are extended from the carriage to a distance of 300 mm. The looper roller is lowered onto the cut strips and a loop is created in the looper using disc scissors. The strips are captured by the feed rollers of the straightening machine, the strips are straightened and fed along the length onto the roller conveyor of the receiving device. The strips are cut to length and fed along the roller table until it stops, then they are dumped into the receiving device using pushers.

EFFECT: ensuring replacement of labour-intensive technological operations on guillotine shears with an automatic mode with high-precision longitudinal and transverse cutting of steel coil tape into strips.
