SUBSTANCE: device for administering a medicinal product using pulsed shock waves contains an upper housing in which the liquid is located, a unit for generating a pulsed shock wave, and a lower housing in which the medicinal product is located and which is connected to the upper housing. The pulse shock wave generation unit is located in the upper housing, contains first and second electrodes located opposite each other and is capable of generating pulse shock waves in the liquid. The shock wave transmission unit is located between the upper and lower housings and is capable of transmitting shock waves generated in the upper housing to the lower housing. The injection unit is located in the lower housing. The first electrode is inserted into an insulating tube, which is located in the upper housing. The second electrode is located on the shock wave transmission block. The length of the insulating tube exceeds the length of the first electrode, so that the end of the first electrode facing the second electrode does not protrude beyond the insulating tube.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of transmission of a pressure surge caused by a shock wave in the working fluid into the volume with the drug is achieved, an increase in the efficiency of the formation of bubbles in the working fluid, as well as a reduction in the volume of the device due to a more compact upper housing.
