SUBSTANCE: growing flowers, vegetables, etc. in greenhouses and greenhouses, in particular, devices for placing plants and seedlings in greenhouses when plants are irradiated. Linear phytolamp holder with adjustable height above plants includes metal frame, consisting of two autonomous elements made of metal rod, having rectangular base and two vertical guides, the distance between which allows to set linear phytolamps. The base is made in the form of a closed rectangle, to which perpendicular vertical parallel guides, connected at the top by a half ring and made with a distance between them corresponding to the width of the linear phytolamp are attached. A rubber ring with tension is put on vertical guides, forming a bridge shelf that ensures reliable retention of linear phytolamps. Rubber jumper is made of rubber ring, rolled around vertical guides into a tight spiral bundle, with the ability to move along the guides. The invention also concerns a method for using a linear phytolamp holder with an adjustable height above plants, according to which the standard height above the plants is fixed both on one side of the vertical guides and on the other side individually, depending on the height of the plants near the vertical guides.

EFFECT: enhancing efficiency of supplementary illumination of plants by promptly and quickly adjusting the intensity of irradiation in height.
