FIELD: chargers for capacitive energy storage devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in high-voltage, high-power electrophysical units with a high level of stored energy. A capacitive energy storage charger comprising a constant voltage source, two series-connected metering capacitors, two series-connected diodes, two series-connected transistors shunted by freewheeling diodes, a high-voltage transformer, a high-voltage rectifier, a control device comprising a clock pulse generator, and a two-channel driver, a choke, two groups of additional capacitors, a delay generator, and two 2I logic elements are introduced.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the charger and expanded functionality.
