FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method consists of moving the machine around a fixed support using self-propelled carts equipped with an electric drive and pneumatic support wheels. The direction of movement of the sprinkler machine is set in such a way that the machine rises to a hill along the smoothest slopes, and the direction of movement of the machine is chosen based on an analysis of the elevation lines on the topographic map of the site. When operating the machine, it is moved around the irrigated area only in one pre-selected direction. On each self-propelled trolley, support pneumatic wheels are installed in such a way that when looking at them from above, the tip of the herringbone tread pattern of the tires coincides with the direction of movement of the vehicle. The support pneumatic wheels of self-propelled carts are equipped with all-terrain agricultural tires.
EFFECT: improved cross-country ability of a circular sprinkler in areas with difficult terrain.
