FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a test system that contains a set of reagents for detecting the following pathogens: Neisseria meningitidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Streptococcus agalactiae, Candida albicans, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Streptococcus aureus, Herpes simplex virus type 1/2, Varicella in a biological sample Zoster virus, Cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, Human herpesvirus 6, Coxsackievirus B. The test system includes sets of oligonucleotides for isothermal amplification of specific genome sequences of pathogens and DNAzyme sensors that form the guanine complex G-4. The test system is used in a method of detecting specified pathogens in a biological sample. The invention is aimed at detecting the product accumulated by cyclic or isothermal PCR using primers. Subsequent imaging is achieved through activation of the enzymatic activity of a guanine quadruplex, which is assembled upon hybridization of DNAzyme sensors with a target nucleic acid sequence (analyte).
EFFECT: invention can be used to diagnose infections caused by one or more of the said pathogens.
