SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the molecular and biological methods for microorganisms detection. A set of primers for the detection of Streptococcus mutans by isothermal loop amplification is proposed, selected from a set that includes primers with the nucleotide sequence Seq Id No: 13–16, 54, a set containing primers with the nucleotide sequence Seq Id No: 19–22, 55, and a set including primers with the nucleotide sequence Seq Id No: 23–26, 58.

EFFECT: invention allows to rapidly detect Streptococcus mutans in a saliva sample without sample preparation with a sensitivity of at least 10-4 ng/μl and a specificity of 100%.
