SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in geophysical studies of horizontal or inclined sections of oil and gas wells. A method for studying directional and horizontal wells during pumping operation includes lowering measuring instruments attached to a geophysical cable into the well together with pumping equipment and hanging them below the pumping equipment, sealing the wellhead, fixing the geophysical cable on the gland input of the wellhead sealing device, taking into account the stroke measuring instruments and its location inside the well using decentralizers, subsequent study of well fluid parameters by moving geophysical instruments in the range from pumping equipment to the section of the wellbore necessary for the study. The measuring instruments are connected to a downhole tractor, which in turn is attached to a geophysical cable. The pumping equipment is located at the lower end of the tubing string, and the measuring instruments are moved relative to the pumping equipment using a downhole tractor, configured for reverse movement. For uninterrupted communication of the downhole tractor through a geophysical cable with the on-board computer of a land-based logging station to monitor and control the movement of the downhole tractor and control the tension of the geophysical cable, decentralizers are located around the tubing, and the geophysical cable is placed between the guides of each decentralizer configured for free movement of the geophysical cable relative to decentrators.
EFFECT: improving the quality of measurements of well parameters, reducing accident rates and increasing the scope of applicability by allowing the safe movement of geophysical instruments over long distances in difficult wellbore conditions.
