FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method has been proposed for filling the odorant service tank at the gas distribution station, which consists in the fact that the odorant, under the influence of a pressure difference between odorant service tank 6 and underground odorant storage tank 7, flows from underground odorant storage tank 7 into odorant supply tank 6. The pressure difference between odorant supply tank 6 and underground odorant storage tank 7 is ensured by supplying gas from odorant supply tank 6 into fuel gas pipeline 1 of the hydrate formation prevention unit at the GDS.
EFFECT: ability to fill the odorant service tank of the gas distribution station without venting natural gas into the atmosphere, as well as without the use of expensive equipment and changing the design of the gas odorization unit at the gas distribution station.
