FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: unit for impregnating wood with liquid comprises an impregnation tank (6) and a shunting tank located above it (10) connected by lines (11, 13), pumps (1, 9), shut-off control equipment and a hydrostatic thermo-hydraulic pressure generator (2). The unit is equipped with a device (4), including an electric moisture meter and a pair of insulated electrodes, a sensor for measuring wood temperature, a programmable logistics controller (12) and an information panel (5) configured to measure the resistance of the electric current passing between the ends of the electrodes in wood and issue digital signal to a programmable logistics controller and information panel for subsequent generation of a signal to start the pumps. Moreover, the pressure generator and device (4) are mounted inside the impregnation tank.
EFFECT: efficiency of the unit for impregnating wood with liquid increases, and reliable control of wood moisture is ensured.
