FIELD: security devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to security devices such as micro-optical strips. The security device contains pictogram means, pictogram refractive focusing element means, and a sealing layer, where the pictogram refractive focusing element means are located on top of the pictogram means so that part of the pictogram refractive focusing element means projects a synthetic image so that the pictogram refractive focusing element means are in contact with the sealing layer along a non-flat boundary. In addition, at least one of the pictogram refractive focusing elements and the sealing layer comprises a mixture of organic resin and nanoparticles having a first refractive index and at least one of the pictogram refractive focusing elements and the sealing layer contains a low refractive index material. In this case, said material with a low refractive index has a second refractive index.
EFFECT: invention provides expanded functionality of the protective device.
