FIELD: high-power radiation.

SUBSTANCE: device for transmitting high-power radiation contains a chamber filled with a coolant, limited at the end by a transparent plane-parallel plate, a bundle with a polished end made of optical fibers, the end section of which is installed inside the chamber using two fixing elements. The chamber is divided into two areas; fittings are installed on the walls of the chamber for supplying and pumping out coolant in each area. The fixing elements are made in the form of two plates. The first fixing plate has holes for holding the light guides and is located at the wall of the input of the bundle into the chamber, the second fixing plate has holes for holding the end sections of the light guides at the end part and is located at the wall with a plane-parallel plate. The first area of the chamber is hermetically separated from the second and has a cooling circuit. The first area is for gaseous coolant, and the second is for liquid coolant.

EFFECT: increase in operational reliability by eliminating contact of the coolant liquid with the emitting ends of the optical fibers.
