SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sealing element for an annular control device. The sealing element includes an elastomeric sealing sleeve having a circular opening and being radially compressible to contact the outer surface of a pipe located within the elastomeric sealing element. The elastomeric sealing sleeve contains at least one of a wear-resistant material located on the inner surface of the circular hole, and a lubricating channel on the specified inner surface. The elastomeric sealing sleeve contains at least two counter-spiral grooves. The grooves are designed to create a high pressure area in the middle of the seal sleeve to reduce wear.
EFFECT: increasing the ability of the drilling rig to control pressure in the annulus of the well, as well as ensuring the creation of a high-pressure area in the middle of the sealing element with limited fluid leakage in any direction.
