FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: track section contains a cross member and two lateral support elements. The cross member is a lattice and is formed by two or more flat, erect and elongated cross members and two or more connecting members. The cross member elements are drawn parallel to each other and empty spaces are provided between them. Each connecting member extends transversely and is attached to the cross member members to act as a separator between the cross member members. Each connecting element projects from the cross member elements to the outer side of the cross member.
EFFECT: increase in strength and a reduction in weight of the track section is achieved.
