SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for preventing vehicle rollovers. The system for preventing rollover of a road train consisting of a car and a trailer contains subsystems for preventing rollover of the car, the trailer, and the road train as a whole. Each of the car and trailer rollover prevention subsystems contains pulse wheel speed sensors, an interface unit connected to the sensors, a secondary power source, an information processing and control device that evaluates the speed of the centres of mass and the difference in wheel speeds, the steering angles of the steered wheels, and determines the boundary rollover speeds, forecasting the speeds of the centres of mass and the limiting rollover speeds of a car and trailer, as well as their comparison.

EFFECT: possibility of preventing the trailer and/or vehicle and road train as a whole from tipping over.
