FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a laser non-contact sensor for ammunition targets. The sensor comprises several optical units and a rangefinder unit. Each optical unit comprises a receiving channel with a photodetector with a rectangular-shaped sensitive element, a light filter, a focusing lens and a protective window, as well as an emitting channel with a semiconductor emitter, a combined optical element and a protective window. The emitter includes an array of laser diodes, the axis of the luminous body of which, parallel to the planes of p-n junctions of the laser diodes, lies in the same plane with the axis of the ammunition. The surface of the combined optical element closest to the semiconductor emitter is flat, and the far surface is the surface of rotation of the Z generatrix, given by the equation: Z=r+aY2[b/(1+(1+cY2)1/2)-1], around the Y axis, which is perpendicular to the planes of p-n junctions of laser diodes. The equation parameters are selected so that the optical element ensures collimation of radiation in a plane parallel to the planes of pn-junctions of laser diodes, and in the orthogonal plane ensures the formation of a uniform radiation pattern of the emitting channel with a given angular width.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the sensor.
