FIELD: treatment facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for biological treatment of household and industrial wastewater with activated sludge in suspension based on multi-stage biological treatment under anaerobic and aerobic conditions with immobilized microflora and can be used in public utilities and enterprises. The unit for biological wastewater treatment comprises settling tanks, an aeration tank, pumps, bypass pipelines, an equalizing tank 15, which is made with inclined bottom walls to the pump intake pipe. Bubble perforated tubes 2 are installed along the perimeter of the bottom. Between the equalizing tank 15 and the aeration tank 8 there is an adjusting column 3 made in the form of a vertical pipe with a height H, which is equipped with three branch pipes. The upper branch pipe is located in the upper part of the column 3 with the possibility of returning excess water flows to the equalizing tank 15. The lower part of the column 3 is equipped with a lower inlet pipe for supplying waste water from the equalizing tank 15. The middle outlet pipe is located at a height of (0.08-0.12) N with the possibility of supplying wastewater to the aerotank 8. A throttle adjustable washer is installed on the middle outlet pipe.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the plant in case of unstable inrushes and rapid discharges of wastewater by averaging the flow of wastewater fed for treatment and increasing the flow rate, regulating the supply of wastewater for treatment, stabilizing the operating mode and significantly reducing the discharge of pollutants into the water body.
