SUBSTANCE: method consists of placing an open glass container with a 5% alcohol solution of iodine in the middle of the greenhouse on the ground surface at the rate of 10 ml per 10 m2 of area during the ripening and fruiting phase of tomatoes after pinching.
EFFECT: simplified use of iodine-containing product with acceleration of plant growth and development, increasing the yield and quality of tomato fruits, and obtaining iodine-enriched products for functional human nutrition.
