SUBSTANCE: method for stimulation of growth and development of tomatoes includes pre-plant seed treatment, plant treatment by spraying them with a biologically active drug during the growing season. As per the invention a highly-dispersed homogeneous aqueous suspension of electrohydraulically treated peat with a moisture content of 75-90% or a highly-dispersed homogeneous aqueous suspension of electrohydraulically treated peat with a moisture content of 75-90% with microelements in the ratio of 1:1.3 are used as a biologically active drug. The pre-plant seed treatment is done by soaking, the spraying is performed at least twice: the first one - in ten days after planting; the second one - in the phase of mass flowering, fruit set beginning, while the drug consumption rate is 70-200 liters/ha.

EFFECT: invention improves seed germination ability and rate, yield, accelerates their growth and reduces the growing period.
