FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to revise the area of anti-glaucoma surgery with removal of valve drainage. To do this, under retrobulbar anaesthesia, a 2.5 mm long conjunctival incision is made to the patient in the upper outer segment of the eyeball. Then the conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule are separated towards the body of the valve drainage until the capsule is visible above the body of the valve drainage. A 5 mm long incision is made in the capsule above the body of the valve drainage. The interrupted sutures that fix the valve drainage through the holes in the body to the sclera are removed. The body of the valve drainage is removed from the capsule. Then, in the projection area of the valve drainage tube, a 2 mm long conjunctival incision is made parallel to the course of the valve drainage tube. The conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule are separated until the valve drainage tube is visible. At 8 o'clock, a corneal paracentesis with a width of 1.2 mm is performed. 0.2 ml of cohesive viscoelastic is injected into the anterior chamber of the eyeball using a cannula. In the projection area of the valve drainage tube, a scleral flap of size 3×3 mm is formed. Then the valve drainage tube is removed from the anterior chamber of the eyeball. Through the hole, the iris is grabbed with iris tweezers and a basal coloboma of the iris is formed with scissors. The scleral flap is sutured to the sclera with four interrupted sutures. The operation is completed by sealing the conjunctival incision with formation of a spilled filtration cushion.
EFFECT: invention reduces the risk of developing possible postoperative complications associated with implantation of valve drainage and preserves visual functions.
